Week 5 Deliverable:
I have created a video presentation on:
- Access Control
Reflection:
This week was great in terms of planning. I had planned to get most of the course and video done by mid week so that I could focus on community/feedback/mock exam. It takes approximately 5+ hours a day to make this all happen. It took weeks for me to get into the hang of it, and just as I have, next week is the last week!
I feel like every week I sing praise for what my project does for me mentally…but it really does! It is applicable to everything, and it should be as it is the framework. I'm just really happy with having this as my project as it allowed me to learn it. The rest of the work associated to make this happen is rough though.
Goals:
-
Create the video on Access Control. Within the video, go through the 'protect' aspect of the NIST Framework, incorporating some previous feedback about giving real world examples.
-
Send video to my cohort for teaching and receive feedback.
-
Improve video with feedback
Challenges:
Time management as I tried to get all the course work done and majority of the video recording done before release of mock exam. However both kids ended up sick starting from the weekend which meant no daycare and more time spent on life than on uni work.
Essentially, all goals have been able to be met based on the fact that I sacrificed sleep!
Achievements I had this week:
Met my goals
Incorporated more feedback into the videos
Uploaded video on discord and Openlearning midweek to allow people more time to view it and provide constructive feedback.
Next week's plan:
Learn about and create content on topic to be decided. It will be the last video and I haven't started reading/summarising to know what I think would be good content yet.
Create video content and incorporating feedback received from previous week.
